Default Tire question...

I need to buy new tires (my SportContact2 235/45 R17 are worn out after 18K miles) and I'm looking for recommendations.
What kind of tires do you guys recommend that last a little beat longer than that?
Is the Bridgestone Potenza RE750 a good tire?
I'm willing to spend a maximum of $150 each.

Thanks a lot!

What about noise and wet traction? Thanks!

Falkens are really great tires...but my top reccomendation must go to my Nitto Extremes, ive had them for no like 24k miles and still have good life ahead of them...definitely worth the extra $$

Michelin Pilot Sports, they blow the Contis out of the water.

Default I've heard some very good things about the RE750. I personally plan to go with Goodyear Eagle F1 (m)

GS-D3s- They cost like 2 dollars more, perform slightly better and apparently last a bit longer.

Default Re: RE750s

I have 18" RE750s.

Even in the 18" size, they're a quiet tire. Definitely quieter than the 17" Dunlop SP 9090s.

They have a good treadwear rating.

I haven't really pushed them yet, but they seem to have good dry traction. Can't comment on wet traction though.
