Tire Rotation interval

After how many miles is it advised to rotate tires? Isn't there a special rotation for awd vehicles? Front to side or rear to front...?

rear to front the tires have to turn in the same direction

cant change one side to the other

every 5k miles. front to rear only if the tires are directional.

i thought it was on all steal belted tires, b/c of the belts, thanks for the correction
