Default Tire size on a 20x9 rim? and questions

Would a 20x9 rim rub?. Also what are the tire sizes that would fit. On one site it said either 255/35 or 295/40. But wouldn't a 30 be needed to keep the plus sizing in effect? So what is the optimal tire size on a 20x9 rim

Default here is a great link to find the proper tire size

just plug in your stock tire size and then it will show you which size is the proper way to go if you want to go up in size.

It says for Miata, but it applies to any car/tire<ul><li><a href="http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html">http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html</a</li></ul>

Default 19s can rub a little if lowered. 20 is going to need bodywork to fit right.

You are going to have a seriously slow accelerating, braking and turning car though. All that mass...
