Based on Sport tire 225/45 17" I concluded that sizes:
255/40 17"rim 1.2% faster speedometer
255/35 18"rim 1.2% faster speedometer
265/35 18"rim 0.1% PERFECT size.
Which one of these you thing will fit in the fender gap, will not rub, with people load or without any load ?
Since 235 fits preatty nicely I wonder how much more room there is to play with.
Can someone measure it for me ?
What is your opinion ?
Thank you all

The 255/45's will look good, handle good, and yet still be usable. 265's are a dang wide tire. I don't know if they'd fit (conjecture, I have no true idea). If you're going to buy tires, you may as well go to 18's. They'll look dang good.
A 1 percent difference is negligable. You may want to note it at higher speeds, but were talking a couple of mph at freeway speeds. Tire inflation pressure could put you off by that much. Speedo's on car's usually are off a couple mph anyway. AFter you put them on get a stopwatch and use the milage signs to figure out where you stand and drive according to that.
