Which tires to get when buying new A4?

how's the performance of the Contis? I guess you said not as good as the Dunlops, but are they still pretty decent in terms of dry and wet grip and quick steering response?

Thanks for all the advice. I should tell you that part of the deal I negotiated is that I can have the dealership swap any tire on any car they have for free as long as it is the same size. There are some TTs on the lot that have Michelin Pilot Sports. I've had these tires on my Jetta and they lasted 40K miles. However, I've never been able to compare them to anything else.

First, the rims for TTs have different bolt pattern (5x100). Your A4 has 5x112 bolt pattern.
Second, TT tires are 225/45/17. Your A4 comes with 235/45/17 tires in the sport pkg. option.

I took him on a winding back road, and at the end, he said hands down, my car is much tighter and handles much better than his. He also said my tranny and clutch is better too. If anyone cares.
