for the boost reservoir, I couldn't find a 1" ID connector to replace the T fitting, so I moved the DV down to where the T was and use a ~1' piece of 1" heater hose to connect it back up. Should be more efficient this way with the DV closer to the turbo outlet hose. plus it will make the DV easier to service (Forge 007).
picked up one of <a href="http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=89270">these</a> heat shields, seems like a well-made piece.
no DSMIC/FMIC yet, as I'm seriously considering moving to a B6 S4 avant (or maybe 2.7T S-line C5 A6) so am holding off any major upgrades until after I figure that out

waiting for some decent weather to yank the box and install it. Did you just line it up and drill holes? I gather its that easy. I agree though, not bad for $90 shipped.

didn't keep the OEM heat shield in though, seemed unnecessary.
