Started around 2 and finished around 7. The time included removing the spoiler, washing and drying the car, removing the tape from the spoiler (worse than removing from car) and washing the spoiler.
I just put the spoiler back on...used 3m automotive tape I bought from Home Depot (you'll need two rolls), rated for 5lbs. Stuff is DAMN STICKY...stickier than what came on the spoiler.
I'm much happier with my install this time around. I got both sides right up against the back of the trunk (last time there was a big gap, see pic below). Though, I guess due the the curvature of the spoiler, there's a TINY gap between the middle of the spoiler and the trunk (vertically, again see pic below).
Wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be for the removal. Heated it up with a hair dryer and took an exacto knife and CAREFULLY cut away the tape. This took about 1.5-2 hours. Once the spoiler came off, it wasn't much to remove the remaining tape on the trunk itself. I used goo-gone and clay bar.
The tape left on the spoiler itself is MUCH harder to take off because you don't have a "stationary" surface to work on like the trunk. You need a long table or two workhorses to prop it up to get some surface to work on. It was just peeling, rolling and hurt thumbs in the end to get the tape off the spoiler. I again used an exacto knife to gently cut away the big chunks of tape and used goo-gone for the remaining residue and gunk.
Here are the pics:
paint cans putting weight on the spoiler to make sure it adhere's properly and the edges stay down.

the small gap in the middle...again, I couldn't get it to line right up against the trunk, guess it's due to the spoiler itself and it's curve.
