Default Tranny fluid Febi vs Pento

I need to change the tranny fluid and here is what I found :
Febi bilstein ( semi-syntech G052 990 A2) or Pentosin (full syntech G052 162 A2) from blauparts.
Europarts has Febi bilstein with a code G052 162 A2 ?????
it's for a A4 2005 3.0 USP...

Any guidance will be welcome... I have already bought 3 liters of Febi but I am not sure anymore if I should used it..

thanks guys..

Fab.

PS: my tranny is an automatic 5 speed tiptronic.

Don't know what tranny you have, but one of those would appear to be the wrong one. You either need full syn or part syn, not either. Put the wrong one in against manufacturer recommendations, and I believe you will end up with a failed tranny just like I had happen with a Getrag about 10 years ago. My recommendation for fluids is universal: stick with Audi fluids or Audi recommended alternatives. The only fluid I am aware of that has Audi alternate is oil. The tranny / diff oils from Audi are expensive (I have spent close to $200 just on fluids in the last 2 months), but at least you know you put the correct fluid in.

My 2 cents...

Just to clarify, are those Audi recommendations or Blauparts recommendations?

Actually ZF, the transmission maker, specifies the characteristics the ATF should meet. Audi will always recommend "Audi" fluid because there is a nice mark-up on it. For what it's worth, the best trans shop I have found in my area uses Valvoline MaxLife DexMerc in VAG tranmissions, and say he won't risk a 3-year warranty on the wrong fluid. That's what I use in two ZF HP19 5-speeds in our family. I saw the following discussion on a BMW forum, it's relevant since some Bimmers use a similar ZF trans:
