jerrybleach.com I have the Pela 6000, takes 6 litres. If the BMW takes 8 quarts you might want a bigger one, although it'll work either way.

I change my filter everytime I change the oil.
I find the belly pan definately comes off easier than it goes back on. Not too bad though... it comes off in a minute or two and maybe 5 min to put it back on.

He said it "needs" to come off. I, personally, don't find crawling under the car at ground level in sub-freezing temps and wrestling with the belly pan and it's myriad of fasteners to be pleasant or necessary. I can get the oil out and the filter off without putting a knee on the round. Am I missing something?
