so, my car is up for warranty soon, so i thought that i'd have some things checked out.
first, my car was recently in for replacement of the card/coin tray because it was broken. in the process of that, they managed to nick up the top of my cd player, and scratch my console trim. i've mentioned it to the service manager, but we'll see what he says. the attitude i've gotten from him was 'oh the car that was in for all that trim?' more on that in a minute...
while it was in, i asked them to check out the car for various rattles(one of which was NOT there before they replaced the coin/card tray). and also to check out the fabric trim over the doors. some of the fabric was peeling off of the actual trim.
well i spoke with them, and they said that NONE of the rattles or the trim would be covered because the car has 'been in an accident' and that all of that has been removed. they do not have proof of the severity of the accident, but they contest that it 'must have been hit pretty bad'.
what do you guys think of that?
