Turbo in a B6 1.8T
Hi All,
What is the model details of the factory turbo in a late 2003 A4 B6 1.8T? Is it a K03 or sometihng else? How long does the turbo normally last? Has anyone experienced problems with the factory turbo?
If the turbo had to be replaced, what would be the best replacement? The same turbo or something bigger or better?

Depends...
If you're under warranty and how much money you have. A bigger turbo is certainly a good investment from what I've heard, but will cost more than just a direct swap with another K03. Maybe a few people with K04's can chime in on how they like it...

The "Hot Setup" is to use the turbo PN specified for the BEX 190 hp Euro 1.8T.
It flows more air at higher efficiency than the "sport" k-03, and does not require different ECU software.
