I haven't had any issues but if I had a big turbo I would go with a solid tip no doubt.

Default It's still pretty stiff
Major improvement over stock, but a real PITA to install especially on an 04 or later, whenever they relocated the recirc valve.

The solid ones are pricey...

Default Yeah I'm debating between the Forge and the solid
I was just wondering if the gains were significant to justify the additional $150 or so for the solid one

If someone offered them both to you free, but you could only choose one, which one would you choose? Solid or Forge?

There is quite a bit of difference in size though. A metal tip is slimmer compared to the silicone

The JJ Tip is the best, if you can afford one, but also they're difficult to find. I think Mike is not producing them any longer.
