Default Turbo Kit...

I recently purchased my first Audi. 2004 A4 Quattro 1.8T. I found what seems to be a good and affordable turbo kit on ebay. It is a new "Street Demon" series package for $789. It should give me about another 100hp or so. I get a little paranoid sometimes messing with things. I was wondering if it would be worth it to get this package or if there is something better out there that is still affordable. On a side note I love this car. I can't stop driving it...Except to look for stuff for it.

Default I don't know about a whole kit for $789...

just the GT3071R and the Tial wastegate I bought cost me $1500 and I got a decent deal.
I would be a bit worried about a whole (if the kit includes everything) kit for that price.
Just my opinion.

Default Please spend several hours researching tubro upgrades for our cars....

If you want to raise the engine's output by 100hp it'll cost you much more than $800. You'll need things like an intercooler upgrade, injector upgrade, proper software fot the turbo that you're running, etc. Tons of supporting mods are needed.

Oh and I'd skip on ebay turbo kits.

Check out:

for turbo kits for our cars.

Basic rule, stay away from Ebay for anything for your car unless you're buying OEM parts.

Default The APR K-04 turbo kit would be a better choice

I'd recommend a full exhaust to go with this turbo upgrade.
Very good gains can be had simply with the APR chip upgrade, the Stage 1+ chip will take that even further if you're looking for a good bang for the buck upgrade.
