I'm buying a '04 A41.8TQ UltraSport with AT. The question I have is about S-line badging on the steering wheel or lack thereof. Is there a reason why some UltraSport models have the steering wheel badging while others don't? The particular vehicle I am buying is a factory UltraSport model with a 3-spoke steering wheel and paddle shifters yet it has no badging.

04s were called usp, 05s were called s line. Steering wheel should have perforated leather on both years.

Thanks for clarifying. I spoke to a local shop and they seem to think since the car I'm buying has paddle shifters on the steering wheel that could be why the steering wheel isn't badged.
