Uneven Brake Pad Wear

Uneven Brake Pad Wear
When replacing the front brake pads on a 2003 Audi A4, I have noticed that the inner brake pad is worn down a lot more than the outer brake pad. The wear on this pad is also tapered with more wear at the bottom of the pad. I have not taken the other side apart yet. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this unven wear ?
