Default UPDATE : Navigation Plus (Instrument Cluster)

The TMC box arrived yesterday. What the TMC box do is activate the instrument cluster nav info and to make the radio/cd info appear as it was before.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/58547/dsc01680.jpg"> If you are just showing the maps with out using the nav, a compass with street name show up

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/58547/dsc01681.jpg"> While calculating, it gives you the direction for your destination. 11 miles to target.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/58547/dsc01682.jpg"> "make a u-turn if possible."

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/58547/dsc01683.jpg"> 10:48 pm is the time of arriving. 16 miles left to dest. 1.5 miles to the next turn. N Sheridan BLVD is the street name you are at.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/58547/dsc01684.jpg"> Turn left on US287/W

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/58547/dsc01686.jpg"> Keep right

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/58547/dsc01688.jpg"> Turn left on SR 121 South

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/58547/dsc01690.jpg"> "Turn next right then immediately turn left."

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/58547/dsc01695.jpg">

The info showing in the instrument cluster is really useful and easy to read. Also, it keeps you focused on the road unlike looking to the Nav+ screen.

For those who asked, the Blitzsafe adapter worked fine with the Nav+.

I creat a new account just for Nav+ pictures (user name is : Nav+)<ul><li><a href="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/users/58547.phtml">Nav+</a></li></ul>

Default Sweet. Glad to hear it is all working out. Are you keeping a running total for cost?

Also, you need to update your link to the picposter. You are using the general link that brings up each person's individual pic poster.

Default sorry, I like my color display better, but I don't have Nav +

If you're going to focus on the DIS for directions (which I do), then I prefer my color display. Check out my pic poster for examples. I don't have nearly as many as you do, but the grpahics and clarity are definitley there.

With that said, I still wish I had a Nav + in my car combined w/my color display.

Default I have a Nav+ (more)

So I just got the TMC box which makes the instrument cluster display the nav info. Yes, I have the original Bose sound system.

Would the TMC box work with the color display? If so, then maybe jimax could still install nav+
