Using Krylon Fusion to paint lowers?
Has anyone tried out Krylon's new Fusion spray paint? It is supposedly the first commercially available paint that bonds to plastics.
Definitely the trailer park approach to painting lowers on a European car, but it might work as a holdover for those of us with Brilliant Black. I plan on installing a body kit down the road, since I don't like the front/side profiles. That's probably 1-2 years away and I really can't stand the dull plastic look, but don't want to blow $$$ for a decent professional paint job that will mostly get covered up by a future body kit.
Just curious... anybody try this out or experiment with this paint? I was thinking a few minimal coats of the Fusion, followed by some glossy clear coats. Maybe I'll buy whichever plastic body part is the cheapest (door lowers) and test out this theory.

Hell Yeah, I painted mine with Benjamin Moore... eggshell/pearl finish...
I used the brushes and rollers and masking tape.
man... it came out tight. I even had some left over to paint my toenails.
lol... :b
