V1 Remote Display mounted in place of the coin/card/business card tray...

i run mine in VA, but when it goes off and i see the officer i keep a close eye on them..
if he moves, i would just pull it out of the window and put it under the seat. i have mine mounted above my rear view mirror so there is no way he could see it unless he's literally right on top of my car.

You can cut original tray to fit those sides....
...I got a question tho..I have V1 hardwired next to the mirror (pic below)...where you installed yours that you need to use remote one?

are you asking where I installed mine? if that is your question..
mine is installed basically the same place that yours. mine is more towards the center and a bit lower though.... it blocks the middle visor from folding down (i never used it anyhow).
the reason i wanted the remote display wasn't b/c the unit is out of sight or hard to reach, i just don't like it when people follow me at night because they see the lights from my v1. that and its easier to lift my hand up a few inches off the shifter to hit the mute button as opposed to reaching to the top of the windshield. yes, i really am <i>that</i> lazy.
