I can definately tell you that Vagparts.com has lost a potential customer.
I called their UK office today to inquire what the Audi factory part numbers are for the S-Line interior brushed aluminum dash/door trim as well as the S4 door flares/blades.
The sales guy literally laughed and said "We are a business and are here to make money, we don't give out information like that to lose business."
I admit I wanted them to comparrison shop with some other part shops, but still...I might have gone with them in the end if their price was the best. Not anymore.

i've never bought anything from them, but who cares if they didn't give you part numbers...you probably could've gone to your local dealer to get that info...

Going to the dealer isn't really an option, but I will call them.
Also, not sure if the Euro part numbers and the US part numbers are the same, so I figured I'd call a European parts distributor.
Point is, it would have taken them all of 2 minutes to give me that information, but I guess they are in it to make money, not serve the customer.

no local dealer in romania that can help? I don't believe there's any difference between US part numbers and Euro part numbers...even US dealers should be able to lookup that information...

But that's a 2.5 hour drive. Also, its a bit hard for me to communicate what I'm looking for, I tried at a local parts store in the city Im in and the guy wasn't really understanding me (especially when I was trying to explain about the S4 door blades), that's why I wanted to go in the with part numbers directly.
Maybe Ill try emailing Vagparts, maybe Ill have better luck that way?
