Default Vagparts.com = bad customer service!

I can definately tell you that Vagparts.com has lost a potential customer.

I called their UK office today to inquire what the Audi factory part numbers are for the S-Line interior brushed aluminum dash/door trim as well as the S4 door flares/blades.

The sales guy literally laughed and said "We are a business and are here to make money, we don't give out information like that to lose business."

I admit I wanted them to comparrison shop with some other part shops, but still...I might have gone with them in the end if their price was the best. Not anymore.

Default first i've ever heard of someone complaining about them to be honest

i've never bought anything from them, but who cares if they didn't give you part numbers...you probably could've gone to your local dealer to get that info...

Default

Always had good luck with them. They've given me part numbers too. That's weird.

Default Seeing how I'm in Romania for the next couple months...

Going to the dealer isn't really an option, but I will call them.

Also, not sure if the Euro part numbers and the US part numbers are the same, so I figured I'd call a European parts distributor.

Point is, it would have taken them all of 2 minutes to give me that information, but I guess they are in it to make money, not serve the customer.

Default yeah, not cool that they pretty much laughed you off the phone

no local dealer in romania that can help? I don't believe there's any difference between US part numbers and Euro part numbers...even US dealers should be able to lookup that information...

Default There is an Audi dealership in Bucharest...

But that's a 2.5 hour drive. Also, its a bit hard for me to communicate what I'm looking for, I tried at a local parts store in the city Im in and the guy wasn't really understanding me (especially when I was trying to explain about the S4 door blades), that's why I wanted to go in the with part numbers directly.

Maybe Ill try emailing Vagparts, maybe Ill have better luck that way?

Default Well, they might get to service my wallet...

If they could be a little helpful and if they have competitive prices.
