I used to do it in college and we all have insurance. Hopefully you were able to get the valet ticket that was attached to the keys, if the valet did not mark any damage to the rear bumper on the slip and there is now damage, you have a strong case no matter what contract states. This is why I keep a digital camera in my glove box all the time now. Talk to the restaurant manager and I am sure that the issue will be taken care of.
