Default Vanishing washer fluid........(more)

i topped up my washer fluid lastnight...to the point where the plastic container was full to the point of overflow....i opened the bonnet today..and its down to about the halfway level...i cant fathom what could be causing this..maybe a leak........i'm dreading this...i honestly can not be asked going back to the dealers AGAIN!! My dealer marked my car when they were giving my car a special paint protectant (the stuff they put on ships and airplanes etc)...i paid £200 for this treatment.....on getting back the car, i was pleased that i had spent the money, as the colour of the car was way richer than before, and the shine was permanent...and it still is to this day....ming blue is a very nice colour....as i got closer to the car i realised to swirls on the rear left wing of the car....i asked what the hell these marks were...the dealer got all flustered and said oh it might have been.....to cut a long story short they said they will sort it out..but i am sick of going back to my dealership every other day.hence i hope its not a leak.......sorry for moaning.....

well, did you close the bonnet immediatly? just fill it up again, if its settled halfway, it should go to the top without sinking down again, what dealer did you get the car from?

Default I remember reading a post about a draft tube

about 1/3 the way up froom the top of the bottle. You tend to lose the top 1/3 of your fluid out of this when you accelerate. Search the forum for this...it was maybe three months ago.

Default Wow! I had what sounds like the same problem yesterday

Look at my post and the replies. Sounds like if you just top it off the rest of the way, you'll have filled the entire reservoir, and the level shouldn't fall anymore.

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/33885.phtml</a

Default Mine does the same thing. I believe I am missing a sealing ring or something in the lid. In the

meantime I made a temporary fix by sandwiching two small plastic bags between the lid and the top. I do not have the problem anymore.

Do other people have a gasket or something in the washer fluid lid? I don't.
