Very different cars, but should I 350Z or A4 3.0 Avant?

The 350 has some great (not-official) performance specs, but is it all that!? I think the A4 is more classy, and for god sake it has back seats....er a trunk! I had a 90 300ZX, and man did I love that car!!!
I guess it depends on what you need out of a car? Do you have kids? Do you usually have more than 2 (total) people in car at once?
The new 350Z is going to be a rocket ship. IMO
And out of all the cars that have that type of stying, it is the best one.
I would probably have gotten one if they would have been available back in Jan-Feb of 02.

By the way...no kids, usually no more than two people...
but it is always nice to have the room. I used to race cars, and would love to have the sports car for track purposes (lapping, not racing). I also owned a 98.5 1.8TQ A4 that I loved too!

If you're looking for sport-performance, get the 1.8T
No offense to anyone that owns a 3.0, but after a test drive I found that I liked the power RANGE of the 1.8T. I bought 2. An Avant and a Sedan. I'll upload pctures here in a few hours.
I can appreciate the even-flow power of the 3.0, but I live in Colorado and the 1.8t seems have better midrange boost in the thinner air.
Don't get me wrong, the 3.0 tops out faster than the 1.8, but I feel the turbo engine is quicker from 20mph to 80mph.
Just my opinion.

Z-cars are extra cheesey.Is Nissan still including flash-gold chain&medallion in the glove box?
TT vs Z would be more a appropriate comparison. I like Avants, I think you will keep it longer and it'll be worth more later on. it can do more things. Your dilemma might just be youth vs maturity.
