viper alarm problem

I have the 791xv in my car, everyone has been fine. I brought my car in for a repair where they had to take the door panel off th driver side door.
They did a bad job, and have to redo it, but now my alarm doesn't lock the door. The audi alarm does, but not the viper. However if I open the door, the viper alarm will go off, yet it doesn't physically lock the door, or any of the doors. The audi alarm locks and works perfectly.
Is there a wire or something that they could have unplugged that allows the viper alarm to lock the door? It somehow knows when the door is open, to have the alarm go off, but won't lock. Very frustrating.

I usually see the guy tapping in at a wiring harness. He usually doesn't touch the door except when he adds power locks. Have the dealer fix it, if not take it to the shop you got it at. Oh and it can sense the door opening probably from tapping the dome light.
