WARNING>>>>don't use painted bulbs in the reat lamps!!!

my bulb blew the other day and got a replacement free from my dealer. I had dusted the bulbs with silver HIGH temp paint. They melted a part of the housing and the bulb failed....see pics

Kragen now sells

sylvania silverstar bulbs that are silver but glow amber {i think they glow amber, haven't checked}. At least this is at the kragens in my area (central cali).
