Warped Brakes - All 4 rotors and brake pads bad
I was wondering if anyone has or or been through this situation. I have a 2003 A4 1.8T quattro that only has 26k miles on it and for the past month, the brakes have been grinding so bad, even when i'm driving that I had to take it to the dealer to get fixed. They took the brakes off and diagnosed that all four rotors and brake pads were warped. Also, its not covered under warranty!!
How does all four rotors get bent, when I do not brake aggressively or drive hard.

I tried two dealers in the Chicagoland area and magically they both said Audi stopped covering all
rotors/brake pads, IF warped. Not if they were still within specs.
Did you have all four replaced as well?

perhaps you should have used the brakes more aggresively!
..at least you wouldn't feel bad about swapping the brakes out if they were mostly used up.
You might find that using the brakes slightly more aggresively may warm them up further (and faster.. which may help given the relatively small mileage you put on your car), and help transfer more brake pad compound to the rotor.. transfer it more evenly.. and reduce the noise from the brakes.
What is often diagnosed as warped rotors is often a case of an uneven rotor surface due to lack of (or uneven) pad transfer. This can be made worse by long periods of having the pads sitting on the rotors after they were excessively hot (not your case probably), and perhaps after a lot of moisture/rain/snow exposure.
