they should take an example to us here in Europe. We can mod the ****e out of our Audis and still maintain warranty.
Good luck, cause they should give you your warranty.

My car wouldn't start (at all), and they told me it was 'fine' and there were no codes...
I bought a vag, and it came back with no start, missfire codes all over the place...

I had just finished building a custom MR2 and was in a rush, so I had a shop install my exhaust. I left, and on the way home it didn't run that well. I kept having problems and finally took the exhaust off, and found that they had banged on the exhaust enough to break up the internals of the cat, which had turned sideways blocking the exhaust...
If the cat substrate is knocked loose and there is any sign of scratches or dents on the outside of the cat, you can bet it will fall to the install....

... and my dealer replaced it under warranty. One thing I have to point out is that my dealership overfills my crankcase (by about a quart) every time I bring my car in for an oil change. My previous Audi dealer did the same thing. I'm sure this is what led to the failure to my catalytic converter. I'll let you make your own conclusions.

This is reality. Most, if not all decision, are money based. (ie, warranty work costs Audi money)

plain and simple. Have your lawyer call AOA and mention the magic word "lawsuit" and you will be amazed how quickly AOAs attitude will change. They will take care of your problem so quickly you won't believe it. They are a bunch of "*** clowns", as you correctly pointed out, that think they are Mr. tough guy, but a little kick in the behind and they are your bitch. Sucks to have to go that route but unfortunately AOA has never heard of customer relations. Hope everything works out and keep us posted.
