Default Washed car, very disappointed with "The Absorber."

I gave my car a sweet wash today... To dry, I used my new california water blade, which was fantastic...did a sweet job. However, "The Absorber" left dust streaks ALL OVER my car, that would not come out (they will come out easily with another wash, but how to dry?). Did I do something wrong? I opened the absorber from its new, sealed packaging, and used it to dry the car. It dried it well, but even though it was clean caused these blasted dust streaks everywhere!

like the others said, was it wet? plus aren't you supposed to rinse/wring it before 1st use?

doesn't it have some sort of a wax coating when new...or am I thinking of another product?

California Duster has a parfin wax coating that helps attract the dust.

Default Here's a very good trick.....

After you do the initial wash of the absorber, when you use it, instead of just wetting it down with faucet water and rinsing it out when it becomes filled with water.... Use hot water. The hot water heats the absorber up, and if you squeeze out the collected water, dip the absorber into a bucket of hot water, squeeze that out and then whipe down your car - it really works better. I've no idea why, just saw my father-in-law doing this one day and decided to try it.
