Default Waxing Advice for Brilliant Black

Does anyone have any advice on the best anti-swirl/wax combination for Brilliant Black? I have been using Mother's or Meguire's anti-swirl polish followed by a coat of Zymol wax. The results have been mixed. I am growing tired of the residue that Zymol leaves on the car.

What is the best anti-swirl mark product (besides another color!)?

What is the best wax to use?

Default Zymol or Zurtle? That Wal*Mart stuff will scratch, avoid "cleaner-carnuba" type products.I recommend

Meguire's HIGH-TECH Yellow #26 Carnuba-polymer Blend- it lasts better than strait Carnuba. Use Glaze, not Scratch-X at this point. Try a buffer to put both products on and a towel to take them off by hand.

We had discussions about this last week. I use Mother's polish with Audi wax; so far so good.

I just finished up using Mother's 100% carnuba wax. From what I see...no swirls right now. I'll look in the sun tomorrow for the real test.

Why do I love black cars???? Silver would have been so much easier!!!

Colour choice is very personal. And swirls show ONLY under sunlight. Good Luck!

Default Mother's Glaze worked great for me.I was spoiled by bodyshop glaze though.Audi wax is silicone-based

or did you mention some specialty wax by Audi?

Default It's a "new Car Balm Wax" (or something like that) sold under Audi brand name available from Audi...

dealers. It's part of a range of Audi Car Care Producats. Is this one silicone based? If yes, is it bad or good?
