Weighed my A4 3.0 quattro tip..
Advertised weight=========================; 3627lbs
Truck scale weight with full tank of gas ==; 3780 lbs
Difference of 153 pounds..
Looks like I am pushing around 2 tons of fun with my butt in the seat and stuff in the trunk. Didn't have time to weigh the front/back seperately. would expect the weight to shift to the rear and improve weight distribution when I am driving.

16 gallons of gas is about 100 pounds, and Tiptronic adds nearly 100 pounds...
...so put that at about 3580 lbs. for a manual 3.0 on an empty tank. My '00 S4 6-spd was 3485 on a nearly empty tank (3435 with no spare tire).

Interesting. Audi lists the 3627lbs figure as the cars curb weight. Curb weight as ...
I know it is described as:
"The weight of the vehicle without passengers, driver or cargo, but with all standard features, a full tank of fuel, and all the fluids necessary for proper function."
Therefore, when Audi lists the weight as 3627lbs it should be with the car full of fluids. Perhaps 3627lbs is the dry curb weight. Hmm?

Is what is quoted in the AoA website specs.
If these specs are done with the fuel tank on empty, it would seem that real world weight distribution would be better. Had a lot of truckers wondering what the hell a car was doing on the truck scale so didn't see if I could get the front/rear weight done. Would be interesting to find out what the real numbers are with a normally loaded car though.
