Sometimes, on dry roads, when I'm approaching a stopsign, I'll slow down pretty quick. Often, I hear a noise coming from the rear brakes...sorta like a moaning noise. It doesn't sound BAD per se, but then again it isn't normal and it isn't ABS either (no pedal pulsation). It just doesnt feel right, and I don't like the way it sounds. Has anyone else experienced this?
Also, regarding BAS. I have trained my leg to activate the BAS, and it is an interesting sensation. It sorta pulls the brake a bit away from your foot (though certainly not all the way). My question about BAS, though, is when I initially hit the brake quick enough to activate BAS (on a dry road going, say 30mph), I hear a vibrating noise. I don't think it's the ABS...it is WAY too quick of a vibration. Could it be a wheel temporarily locking up or something? Or the ABS pressure pump applying the full braking force?
