Hey Guys, so for the last 4 days i've been having a weird car shutting off problem. Here is the deal:
Car sits out all evening, and in the morning when i get up to drive somewhere car turns on fine. As soon as i drive and come to my first complete stop (either at a stop sign or light) the car turns off? No shudder, no hesitation, or weirdness to the stopping. Car just turns off, with no dash lights outside of the battery light staying on? Car turns right back on and runs the rest of the day without a problem? I haven't noticed any difference in drivability or anything else?
I Vag-com it, and no codes? I know its such a random thing to ask but i figured what the heck...maybe somebody has run into something similar? I figured too that if this is only going to get worse, i can probably nip it in the butt sooner rather then later. Any help would be appreciated...Thanks

Ok ran the vag-com again today and had this code:
17544 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Add): System too Lean
P1136 - 001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - Intermittent
Did a little research and it said the most likely culprit is a vacuum leak in my system or possibly the o2 sensor between my turbo and cat converter going bad. Anyway to check 100%?
Car runs good, no idle issues, only time it seems to turn off is in the AM after it has sat all night?

No real way, but I would "lean" (snicker) toward leak since it is first thing in the morning after sitting a while. My 300ZX has a similar symptom, although it continues to run just very poorly and the Aux Air Pump runs continuously for about 20 seconds. I know I have a leak somewhere on it, I just can't find it.

Hey Guys, just wanted to follow up on this. I believe i found the culprit to my woes...I had a busted Breather hose on my car. If you look at the link provided below that has a diagram, i had a busted hose (#2) to the T Hose (#5). There was no connection whatsoever. There was a nice 1/2 spacing between the 2 infact. Read up on this and apparently its a common thing..

Ordered some reinforced silicone cables from 034Motorsport to avoid a future cracking, along with a replacement pcv valve and i will see if that is what it was. I really hope thats what it was...
also replacing purge valve as i seem to have no kick in my turbo when jumping to second gear..ahhh the joys of owning an Audi...
Granted i wont complain as this thing still hasnt left me stranded (knock on wood) with its warts and all
