Default Weird Symptom from shifter!!!

<center><img src="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/pics/eng56-shifterout.jpg"></center><p>I have problem with my shifter.
When I drive about 30-40 minutes with 3-4k rpm shifitng, the shifter feels hard and not moving smoothly.
From the neutral position, when I move shifter to the side to side it's not returning back to the center position. I posted thread last time and some people told me to lubricate the linkage but I'm not sure exactly which part I have to lubricate. I made appointment with dealer but I prefer fix it myself . I'll attach pic as a reference.....I'd really appreciate your help....thx...

Default put grease into it but be as clean as possible.....add a little then move parts around to work into

shifter....repeat...you get the idea.

Default I applied lithium white grease (spray can with the straw nozzle) to the balljoint and it

hasn't happened to me since. I find this usually happening in hot weather only (when it did happen).
