Default Weird thing happenin with my driver window...

intermittently, the window won't close with the one touch button. It closes all the way, then opens back up 3-4 inches. Interestingly, once this happened for an hour of so and the key feature to open up all of the windows didn't work either. I pulled out the fuse which looks ok. It has happened only twice so far, for a few hours each time...weird, huh.

Default This has happened to my passenger side window too...

It seemed to happen if I was parked for a while with that window down and then attempt to roll it back up when I drive away. Bizarre behavior.

This was a problem when my car was new, but lasted about one week.

Default Here's what to do....

I ran into this same problem, both on my C230 and now my A4. Luckily MB roadside taught me how to reset the switch. Basically hold the switch in the close position as far back as it goes and do that for about 5-10 seconds. That should do it. What you describe is what happens when our power windows are configured to vent positioning which is adjustable.

You're lucky this happened to you with your windows only staying rolled down a couple inches. I had this problem when my windows got stuck all the way down on a cold night...
