Does anybody have the Wett chip in their 2002 1.8T? I think it has 205hp/250torque. Im just want to compare this to giac, mtm and others who have chips out. I've finally grown to realize that APR is NEVER going to have a chip out, so screw them Im going to buy somebody else's product.

Wett removable module technology...
Anyone had any experience with the product; other tuners claim they can't achieve reliability without soldering their chip on the ECU but Wett claims otherwise. I like the flexibility of returning to stock chip if necessary. Any comments...??

Thw Wett chip is nothing short of awesome. Over the MTM that I tried before, thge Wett comes in like factory power. No sudden power, no jerking and certainly no drivetrain punishment (All of which is very important to me). I have had the chip for over 8 months now and no reliability issues either. It would have to be extreme for you to dislodge the chip and I do not nancy my car. It gets driven liek a turbocharged car should and the roads over here arent all forgiving either. The other thing about the Wett that I found by pleasant surprise that if you
HAD to use lower octane fuel, the chip just retards the ignition so that you can. No that I would recommend it but its bice to know you can if you are stuck and not have premium....
