Default What alternatives are there in trying to get the aluminum/chrome S4 mirrors?

I would like to purchase the S4 mirrors for my car, but do not want pay the ridiculous price for them. Does NE know of any cheaper replicas? Has NE tried a DIY to their mirrors to get the S4 finish?

Thanks

My cousin is a mechanic in Belgium for Audi and I was thinking of asking him to looking into bringing a set of mirrors for me. I dont know what they retail for over there but something tells me they'll be cheaper.

the Euro is pretty strong right now, so they're still going to be around $300-$500 USD.

Default DesiAkaArun and I are currently getting prices on the In-Pro units that replace your painted

mirror housings. I believe that with shipping they will be around $100/set. The only other alternative is the stick on mirror caps (yuck).

I'll keep everyone posted.

Default I called RPI equipped and they said that they hadn't heard of the non-stick on kind, made by inpro,

but yet my German contact stated that they definitely make some. I may order a set too, let me know if you have access to a local set.
