Default what chips worth considering for 03 CVT
What chip makers should I look at for an 03? Are they safe for CVT or no? I asked something kind of similar earlier and I appreciate the responses.

just the torque be limited to under 230ft-lbs

Default i blame CVT for the downfall of the 3.0L :( ... darn CVT ... explained inside
the 3.0L would have put down 250hp .. but because of the CVT couldnt support that much power, the motor was detuned to have a single motor for the 3.0L setup

of course the CVT system is bad *** ... i just wish the 3.0L had the 250hp ... i would have spent the $$ for the 3.0L

What makes you so sure that the 3.0 would have 250 hp?

Default its not really the hp, its the torque.. so Im not sure about that..
theres only so much you can get out of a 3.0 liter and balance the torque with the hp and the gearing...

to make 250hp.. the torque would probably drop to around 200ft-lbs

im positive there would have been an increase of torque to allow for the increase in hp

i got this info from an audi rep when he was visiting a dealership, but it could have ben a 250 torq

Default its not impossible.. but Cosworth built the engines so I would believe it from them.
doesnt sound impossible, but Bimmers make 225hp and they dont have CVTs....

the current news seems to be Audi RS4 might be using a 3.0L biturbo setup
