What do you guys expect from something that explodes 3,200 to 26,000 times a minute? (more ranting)

All this complaining about a allmost
imperceptible vibration that occures at one particular RPM? If you want a car that drives like glass, sell you audi and buy one of thoese Honda hybrids or a Bently or something. Please stop this bull**** about this "horribal ungodly earth shaking" vibration that I barly notice unless I am REALLY paying attention. Sorry for the rant, but i am sick of seeing this "2100 rpm vibration" garbage. The 1.8T has been noted time and time again for being a EXTREAMLY smooth I4. Stop complaining.

I agree with you. I happen to have the v6, but people here complain about it not being very smooth at all. Personally, I find that I have to rev it up to about 4-5k before I can even hear the engine over the cooling fan...
And yes, I do get a slight vibration at idle. Happens about once every 10 seconds or so. My question to those complaining about it: WTF are you keeping the car idle that long for?![Wink](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
lol... I jest... sugar... mmm... sugar...

a two piece drive shaft using rubber donuts instead of u-joints, spinning at engine speeds to a rear mounted clutch ? Welcome to my world and the world of Alfa Romeo Alfetta chassis design. We speak of the perfect drive shaft balancing job in hushed a reverent tones;-)

have driven to date. Especially that 350Z. Damn thing felt like it was gonna fly apart when compared to my 1.8T. I thought I was being picky when I thought my 1.8 was a little buzzier due to the chip and exhaust. Then I drove the 350Z. When I got back in my A4, I was like: WOW, this thing is SMOOTH! I totally agree with you vx. Everyone should just STFU.
