Default what does the fault "control module locked" mean?

My dealer is having a tough time getting into my ECU and they are blaming my chip. I have never had a problem in the past, and have been to the dealer at least 5 times with my chip...

any ideas? any ideas on what to do? thanks...

Default P1570 is a static fault that is stored when someone attempts...

...to start an Audi with an immobilizer with an unmatched key. Once that happens you get spocratic malfunctions with subsequent attempts to start the car with a matched key.

Basically, Your immobilizer lost it's code. You'll have to reprogram the immobilizer or have the dealer do it.

The dealership should "know" this by the code, and "know" how to fix ;O)

Default this dealer is usually pretty good...

as a matter of fact, i just had the ignition coil changed, as well as 3 keys reprogrammed.

these are my symptoms...

cold start:
car would start, stall, restart and be ok.

last time i started, it stalled and would not restart. it tried, but the engine would not turn over...

these dont sound like it could be the immobilizer could it?

Default also...

the other codes that came up were:
P0301 P0302 P0304
...misfires in two cylinders, and sporadic misfire in a third... usually a sign of a coilpack failure.

there was also
01304 044
Key
Signal too low
Sporadic

the dealer said that they are locked out of the ECU and cannot find the source of the problem???

Default DTC 01304 Key signal too low, means ...

the reader coil in the ignition switch is faulty. "Sporadic" means the fault does not occur each start attempt, only some of the attempts. That is why it would start then die, only to start OK on the second attempt. This can also cause the immobo to lock out, as if an unauthorized/unsynchronized or strange key was being used to try and start the car.
