Default WHAT THE F$%K! HELP, RADIO HAS NO POWER

I just got back from a quiet ride back to work after lunch. Turned on my car, Symphony has no power. Anyone help?

Not uncommon problem. Reset the fuse.

Default this happened to me last week...

follow advice to check the fuse.

blown or not, if you pull the fuse, start your car, then turn off the car and re-install your fuse, you will re-initiate the radio next time you start. have the radio manual with your code handy - you will need to carefully follow the directions in the manual to re-activate your radio.

it seems that the radio gets jammed if you turn off power while the CD player in mid-cycle switching discs, loading, etc. try to avoid shutting down when the CD changer is doing its thing.

I like having the in-dash CD player, but I was happier with the performance of the changer in my 99.5 A4.

good luck.

Mine did the same thing. My fix worked and it never happened again. Pull the fuse.Wait 10 seconds and replace it. You then need to put in the radio code and it should work fine.
