Default What if i get the Giac chip but then later get the APR stage3 turbo?

Can they take out the Giac chip and put the stock chip back in with no issues? Or would they leave the GIAC chip in and APR would reprogram that? How would this work?

Default Is the GIAC chip putt in with a socket? If so, then there should be little

trouble in replacing it. If not, then I don't believe APR would be able to reprog. the GIAC chip.

Default did the same thing but reversed on my b5 a4..

had an apr chip and got a k04 with giac programing. they had to remove the apr chip(gave it back to me) and i had to purchase a chip from giac and they put that back in my stock ecu so i could run the larger trubo.
