this is what infuriates me about the mentality of many, not all, but many BMW drivers...

Ok folks, been wrestling with this for the past week and it's time to make a decision. I'm looking at either the 330i or the G35 coupe.
two different cars, but the two cars from which I'm going to choose! I've gone through the pros/cons in my head, but emotion has played more of a role than I'd anticipated. And this being potentially my first BMW, I might be overlooking a few things.
Help me out here. What are the pros/cons to getting the 330i over the G35 (or vice versa). Thanks

BMW is more prestigious.
Infinity is a luxury Nissan.

Tell them you drive an Infinity and they might say, nice car...

If you wanna really stand out and be unique, buy an Audi...
BMW's and G35's are a dime a dozen these days. IMHO, our cars really stand out from the BMW's, other than the M's of course.

the next time someone asks if they should buy a g35 over a german car. I am going to say......
yes, get the g35, its better. that way, people who truly appreciate german engineering and quality, will be the only ones who share our joy.

really? I guess it's all relative (location). I think I stand out up here in NY...
the car gets tons of attention anywhere I go. Especially from BMW drivers. Thats why I said we're somewhat unique.

I thought so. It seems like 75% of you guys are from Socal. If you're ever...
in NYC just look around, there are BMW's on every block. WHen I went out to Beverly Hills/W. Hollywood I swear every other car was A Porsche or Mercedes.
