What is the name of the stability control system on our cars?

It is a bit more then traction control, its traction and stability.
The system is fully active, if you wheel is straight, and say the rear kicks out on some snow or something, the ESP will correct for this by braking one of the rear wheels to correct the situation. It has traction control with a ETC (electronic throtle control) but it is quite a bit more then just stoping the wheels from spining.

ESP = ESC = DSTC = ASP (advanced stability program).
They are all the same. Most of them are using the same Bosch 5.7 ABS system that is also part of our cars.
As long as it has a steering sensor and a yaw sensor, it is an electronic stability program regardless the marketing acronym that is actually used.
