After a week in the seats...I have decide to contemplate alternatives. Anyone try to put Recaro Trend seats in their B6 A4 1.8T? Anything else? I don't want racing seats...so Sparco/Cobra/Status seats are not an option.

Default I like the B6 S4 seats. Not a whole lot of shoulder support, but it definitely

locks you in much better than the A4 seats.

Recaro Style seats - very similar to B6 S4 (which I highly recommend)

Default Well, they are covers, not replacements...m...

but perhaps by giving you a bit more friction, you won't slide around on these vs. your leather/leatherette seats?

clicky

Default I've spent 18 months in mine and am considering an S4 just for the Recaros :-)

I was hoping they'd get better with time, but 24k later and they still suck. My 85 Scirocco seats were better, in fact - every other car i've ever owned had better seats........ why oh why didn't they offer the sport seat upgrade like the B5's!

Default Actually considerably more since they have side air bags built in

and also probably seat heaters.
