What should the MAF g/s numbers be like on a k04 car? I have some numbers from a log and

tightening the clamp but it kept slipping off. Finely I got it to stay.
I think the hose slipped off again which is causing a false MAF reading. So, if I understand this correctly, my actual and request boost will not corelate with each other.
I did some VAG logging. I logged MAF, BOOST, and KNOCK. My knock was good with CF's of no higher than 3.8 with timing set to a 3 with the revo serial port switch. The highest MAF reading I got was like 150-160g/s. The Revo switch guide states that a k04 MAF should hit 200-250. I'm way off. And I dont hit those MAF readings often either.
My actual and request boost don't match up either. For example, at 2840RPM the ecu is requesting 2480mbar and its only putting out 1300mbar. This would leed me to beleive that due to the false reading of air actually being sucked in, the MAF tells the computer, "you want 2480 but you ain't gonna get it cause their isn't enough air being sucked in!"
Or I could just have a faulty MAF!
Or I need a nuespeed extreme intake with a velocity adapter to keep that hose on nice and tight.
But first, I need to know if my MAF #'s should be around 200-250g/s?

the sensor can be pulled from the MAF housing, and cleaned with CRC...
Might help out the numbers? ;O)

the sensor. How did you use it?
Yes I have a K&N. I forget to mention that in my unnecessarily lengthy reply.

inspected it closely for dirt, then sprayed it several times. Waited a few minutes for the cleaner to dry/evaporate, re-installed MAF sensor.
Ya might be able to remove the MAF assembly, and use the cleaner?
The K&N(oiled)type filters have been linked to MAF problems...

however found my airbox soaked with the filters sticky oil! I had to remove the entire filter box, MAF & TIP to clean out all the oil!
Since I had no noticable,(butt-dyno) gains from running the ITG, I placed a new OEM paper filter back in. Cleaned my MAF with the CRC, and my Audi ran noticably better.
What TIP you running?
I have the Forge.
I had the APR, but found out it wouldnt work without mods on my 2004....
The Forge costs $190, and bolts right up!
The APR $160, and you'll need to buy an extra "T" fitting, and some creative installing....
The Neuspeed TIP($300) seems to be for the Big Turbo folks, since the Neuspeed TIP has an adaptive turbo end piece....

might suite my needs. I that about the NS TIP because of the adapter. But I gues the forge would be right. Did it come with all those clamps? I have an 03 so I dont need the t fitting?
