What are the symptoms of a failing radio signal amplifier?

It seems like every once in awhile I will get a pop in the radio signal. I'm not sure if it is something to do with interference or not, but I don't think it is because it seems to be present on all stations.

very poor reception all the time, i wouldn't even bother using it.......

When mine went bad on my last b6 it was constantly having almost no reception. It was pretty obvious something was wrong. Your problem sounds like it could be interference.....not definite though.

I had that problem wherer i wasn't getting any radio stations, and i took it to the dealer, and they said the booster was faulty, and they replaced it, and it is working fine.
