msrp is what is on the sticker.
invoice is what the dealer pays.
on my car, the msrp is roughly 3 grand more (US) than invoice. this is your haggling room. if you can split the difference, you're probly doing well.

I would think the dealer price would not be disclosed.
Anyways, edmunds list it. I understand completely now, basically your charge is MSRP and dealers prices in Invoice, and a good deal would be anything under MSRP basically, thanx for the info =)

5,000 profit ? I think maybe 4,000 on the purchase of a 40,000 car. I know a few owners of dealers ( yes every company and arrangement is different ) If you shave off 2000 on the purchase of your A4 1.8 you would be doing well. I would like to see the Canadian invoice amount of an A41.8T if someone knows please post. I know of Edmunds, prefer exact Canadian dollar figures. thanks
