17x7.5 45et.

Default would i choose 45mm offset even for 19" wheels?

sorry i am new to the whole idea. does it matter what tire size i choose?

i think you can safely go about 30mm. I depends on the width of the rims.

The proper offset is dependent on the width of the wheel combined with the size of the tire. Basically, the point is to have your wheels position themselves and the tires so that no rubbing occurs on the outer lip or behind the tire against the suspension. very educational. next spring i am planning to get the 19" axis supermesh wheels 19x8.5s, maybe a bit bigger for the back.

Just FYI, I run 19x8.5 w/32et and they rub once in a great while. I would go with 35et.
