Yea the 3m I guess is super thin and difficult to get perfect. As for the purple fade, I hop not, actually the reason I went with the 3m colorguard was because they warrantied against fade for the life of the car.

Spoiler Depot - changing from 'glass to 'thane
have had mine on order since Feb 22 and still not here - was told yesterday that they're in the midst of changing over from fiberglass to urethane, and will be shipping for free. Don't know if this is BS or what - kinda concerned about quality with the change over - will update when it arrives
