Default What'd people pay for their Bilstein sport shocks?

I'm gonna go with the Bilsteins and my stock, sport '02 springs. I have a bead on a set of sport shocks for $399 shipped. Wondering what others paid. Thx!

Default sounds like a good price, but why Bilstens w/sport springs?

Koni FSDs will give a much more comfortable ride without sacrificing much if any of the performance

Default I think that is a great price for Bilsteins. I just ordered Koni Sport....

shocks and it was $514.00 shipped. I was just affraid that Bilsteins while being more performance oriented (read it more firm) would be a little to firm for me. I am matching Koni Sport shocks with Vogtland Sport springs.
I think you got a great price. Everywhere I saw Bilsteins they were closer to $500 for a set.

Default I paid much more than that. Let me warn you...

I have Bilsteins with 02 sport springs. The shocks are firm, too firm for me. I hope one day to swap them out with Koni FSDs. If you live where there are rough roads, I'd suggest going with something other than Bilstein Sports.

Default From what I've researched, FSDs are more for comfort than performance. >

I'm going to do shocks soon and also keeping my '02 sport springs, I'm pretty set on Koni sports since they perform better than the FSDs.

Default Please post your review of that setup, I'm keeping my '02 sport springs but need new shocks>

and will most likely go Koni sport.

I've had bilsteins on past cars, and loved the performance, however they raised a BMW M3 I had up a 1/2-3/4" in back, which drove me nuts.
I did like the ride with them though, it was still compliant enough for me with stock springs.

better is subjective, but since they are adjustable I would agree

Did they change the ride height at all? On the fronts, which perch position did you use?

True... as is comfort. What is fine for some is to stiff for others.

Default Quattro? Front-trak?

For Quattro- paid $529 from Pure Motorsport for Bilstein Sports.

I had'm shipped 3 day, so it cost me there....

http://www.purems.com</a
