If there may be any small particles on the car (sand blown up from the road, etc), then you don't want to wipe it down with anything dry. You'll risk scratching. Unless you washed it within several hours or have had it holed up in a garage, I'd be careful.
Instead, use Meguiar's Quick Detailer spray, which contains a lubricant. Spray, do a very gentle wipe with a towel to spread out the spray and get up any stray particles, then turn the towel to a clean area and wipe the region clean. You should be able to complete the whole car in 10-15 min. Not as quick as a duster, but safer.
